Ben did a spot on job identifying the problem with my Vandersteen sub-woofer. The repair was done timely and professionally. When I got it back I had a problem not associated with his repair and couldn't figure it out. I called Ben and he spent his time helping me get the problem resolved and did so as a courtesy. That in my opinion is going above and beyond what you would expect these days. Thanks Ben, Mike M

We had an issue with our subwoofer and called Ben at 9 pm not expecting a call back. He called us within 5 minutes and walked us through our issue and everything works and sounds great! Customer service here is off the charts excellent

Ben is a master technician. Hes extremely detailed in his diagnosis and solutions and delivers on repairs.  If you have vintage audio equipment that needs repair he is your guy.

I got a 1970s Technics stereo receiver repaired by Thin Air Audio and had it back in about a month which seems like pretty good turnaround all things considered.  I paid under $200 including the initial $75 'open it up and make an estimate' fee. The problem was one tiny little fried transistor, which he said took him a while to find a replacement for. He also cleaned the receiver up and replaced a couple burned out light bulbs and gave it new fuses.  It looks and sounds fantastic so I'm very happy.

Ben fixed my 25+ yrs old Jamo subwoofer for a very reasonable price. Additionally, he gave me advice on how to use the subwoofer's rear panel controls and setup, place, use the sub in my room for best home theatre sound experience. I highly recommend Ben at Thin Air Audio.

Ben was great! He diagnosed the problem with my Onkyo stereo amp -- something the factory-authorized repair place failed to correct on two separate occasions -- and his expert work cost slightly less than the last bill from the authorized repair place. He quoted his labor charge up front. The defective part he replaced was minuscule and was not costly. But finally having a functioning amp and listening to music again in my apartment after five years and two botched repairs is priceless. Ben took the time to explain the repair and was very prompt about responding to texts and phone messages. Ben even answered a technical question I had about running speaker wires. On a Saturday night!
