I have worked with Ben, Thin Air Audio, LLC, in getting my father in laws equipment from the 1970s repaired / and refurbished. The equipment works great. Ben has also helped trouble shooting via phone to eliminate issues that have occurred. I highly recommend for your audio repair needs.

Last week I had a severed headphone cable that I needed repaired, I dropped it off with ben and got a text later that night that it was done. Reasonably priced, and the repair itself is solid and hasn't had any issues. He took the time to explain the process, and was very straightforward.

My stereo system going back to 1985 had a lot of problems. Ben was extremely helpful and went the extra mile for me, a customer who is clueless about electronics. He was generous with his time and advised me very well with the purchase of new and reasonably priced speakers. He repaired my CD player and my tuner. His fees are very reasonable. Moreover he does not try to make his customers buy when things can be repaired. I have appreciated his knowledge and his service very much. Highly recommended.

Ben did a spot on job identifying the problem with my Vandersteen sub-woofer. The repair was done timely and professionally. When I got it back I had a problem not associated with his repair and couldn't figure it out. I called Ben and he spent his time helping me get the problem resolved and did so as a courtesy. We had an issue with our subwoofer and called Ben at 9 pm not expecting a call back. He called us within 5 minutes and walked us through our issue and everything works and sounds great! Customer service here is off the charts excellent.

I had a sound issue with 1990s Bose speakers and couldn't find anyone in Ann Arbor to take a look at them since they are 30 years old. Finally, someone recommended Ben at Thin Air Audio. I am grateful there is a professional technician with Ben's knowledge and experience willing to repair well-made, older equipment, and make a service call if needed...all for a reasonable price and turnaround time.
